This is when the wedding dress is ready in its final fabrics for its first real fitting. The fitting of the dress is checked and adjusted to the bride if required. A second fitting is then necessary to check the fitting of the dress again to achieve a perfect fit. Up to three fittings are sometimes necessary depending on the style of the gown. All alterations to the wedding dress are made in house. The first actual fitting is normally one month before the wedding.
